I like to think of myself as water: still and reflective one moment, vivacious and energetic the next. My work, like me, is multifaceted and diverse. I am a photographer and writer from Guatemala, currently living in Savannah, Georgia. My fine art work aims to explore the depths of the subconscious mind and how it shapes our perceptions of reality. By abstracting the material world around me, the intangible suddenly becomes palpable and the possibilities endless. I am keen on learning about a million different things, from sociology to anthropology, politics and biology. This is reflected through my social documentary explorations and the way I interact with the people I shoot. Even when the dream world sounds too alluring, my organized, punctual and disciplined self keeps me grounded in reality.
